Our Coaches
We don't rely on any single star instructor. Every Chan Cheng® coach meets the same rigorous standard — no matter which studio or instructor you train with.
Internationally Certified · Regularly Retrained
Every instructor must hold international certification before teaching, and completes periodic retraining and assessment. Certification isn't a one-time achievement — it's ongoing.
Mentorship & Assessment · Continuing Education
New instructors must pass internal mentorship and trial-teaching assessments before leading classes on their own; active instructors complete a set number of hours of continuing education and workshops every year.
Standardized Cueing · Individual Adjustments
Consistent posture cueing and hands-on assist protocols. We learn about your condition before class and make individual adjustments throughout — safety is the foundation of effective practice.
Your practice experience shouldn't depend on one person's schedule. We invest our energy in building teaching standards instead — consistent class programming logic, consistent cueing and assist protocols, and a consistent retraining system. So whichever class you book, the quality is stable and predictable.
A significant portion of our team comes from Chan Cheng®'s own teacher training program. As a Merrithew® Guest Training Center, our STOTT PILATES® certification training is open to the public and also serves as our own instructors' growth path — from practitioner to instructor, on one complete, consistent standard.
Before your first class, your instructor will learn about your condition and goals; during class, cues are clear and assists are measured, keeping intensity within a range you control; afterward, you're welcome to ask your instructor anything. If you ever have feedback about a class, please share it directly with the studio — it's an important part of how we evaluate teaching quality.
